An approach for semantic interoperability in autonomic distributed intelligent systems

The complexity and dynamism of distributed intelligent systems have motivated the utilization autonomic computing in such systems. However, interoperability agents order to attain self-managing properties is itself a great challenge that requires more attention. Although number semantic approaches exist for central systems, there are not many attempts develop mechanisms facilitating feedback loop. In this paper, approach presented overcome challenge. main component AutonoML language provides shared semantics environments. Besides language, method its application enhancing MAPE-K loop presented. evaluate mechanism, three well-known metrics from ontological assessment area utilized, results compared with an existing ontology shows greater relational attributes richness proposed structures. Moreover, applicability case NASA-ANTS project studied, show mechanism capable achievement stable self-adaptive solutions less time by exchanging fewer messages.
